Hi Beer Buddies – strap yourself in for the usual Beer Club wrap up.

What a great night thanks to the Dark Horse Bernie for hosting the venue who once again added an extra element to the festivities by having his better half Leisl assisting the Club with the Blind tastings.

A great effort on behalf of the May’s..a family contribution and one that certainly put the boys in their place by making sure they minded their “P’s” and “Q’s” around the table.

This in no way hindered the evening but provided the session with an added element of “colour & movement” that was otherwise lacking in previous meetings. (not counting the time that BAZ got dressed up in Caz’s underwear..)

The line up of tastings were:

1. Carlton Draught
2. Melbourne Bitter
3. Fosters
4. Carlton Light (had to be poured down the sink)
5. Carlton Mid
6. Crownie
7. VB (the green death)

Highlights of the tastings:

Bernie was crowned the winner with 3 out of 7 tastings correct.

Baz lost his way amongst the tastings and made it to double figures on his tasting sheet.

Special mention to Joe for arriving by Beer 4. and catching up quickly.
